The first day of the 2023 MLSP workshop will take place in this beautiful building of La Sapienza University.

Public transportation: the venue is near the Colosseo stop of the B-line subway
Foot: the venue is within walking distance (15 minutes) from Termini station.

ROMA EVENTI FONTANA DI TREVI – CONFERENCE CENTRE

The 2023 MLSP workshop will be held inside a beautiful complex of the Conference Centre “Roma Eventi Fontana di Trevi”, located in the heart of Rome, within walking distance from the Quirinale and the Trevi Fountain.

The Conference Centre is situated in the splendid Neoclassical palace chosen by Pope Benedict XV as the location for the Gregorian University and built by Guido Barluzzi in 1930.

From the “Leonardo da Vinci” International Airport

A direct train (the Leonardo Espresso) leaves every 30 minutes and connects the Fiumicino airport to the Termini railway station in Rome. Once you arrive at Termini (end of the line), you can take public transportation to arrive. To see the details, see the dedicated tab.

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORATION

From Termini railway station

Bus
Exit the station from the side of Piazza dei Cinquecento.
Take the number 40 Express Bus (it leaves every 5 mins) and get off at Piazza Venezia after three stops.
Turn left into Piazza SS. Apostoli, walk for 50 m through the square and turn right into Via del Vaccaro, which, leads into Piazza della Pilotta.
The Conference Centre is situated on the upper side of the square, inside the Pontifical Gregorian University.

Metro underground trains
Inside the station, take the A-line subway for 2 stops and get off at BARBERINI (continue on foot for approximately 800 m until you reach Piazza della Pilotta)
Or the B-line subway for 1 stop and get off at CAVOUR (then on foot for approximately 1.2 km)

BY CAR

A1 (for those arriving from Florence)

From the motorway, exit onto the G.R.A (ring road) in the direction of Aurelia/Fiumicino and after approximately 2 km take exit 8 (Salaria) towards the Centre (Centro)
Drive all the way along Via Salaria (8 km) as far as Largo Nicola Spinelli and continue on along Via Pinciana for approximately 1 km
At Piazzale Brasile, turn left into Via di Porta Pinciana (300 m). At the end of the road, you will find the Parking Ludovisi car park (otherwise, if you go straight ahead for 200 m, you will find the Parking Villa Borghese car park on the right)

A1 (for those arriving from Naples)

From the motorway, exit onto the G.R.A. (ring road) in the direction the Aquila/Firenze (Aquila/Florence) and turn off after about 8 km at Exit 14 (Tangenziale Est) towards the Town Centre (Centro)
Drive along this road for about 7 km and turn right into the Circonvallazione Tiburtina in the direction of the town centre (centro). Continue on for about 1 km as far as Scalo di S. Lorenzo, turn right into Via degli Ausoni and drive for 400 m
Turn left into Via De Lollis and continue on until you get to Piazza Sisto V; turn right into Via Marsala and then turn left into the first tunnel
At the end of the tunnel you will find the ES Park car park (in Via Giolitti – in front of the Termini railway station) and follow the directions relative to public transport.
